Get the perfect support you need for your feet. Relieve forefoot, heel, arch and leg pain by using insoles inside your shoes. The contoured shape will support your feet in two directions – both lengthwise and across the arch for maximum relief of pain and fatigue.

Good insoles are engineered to combat discomfort and provide better stability and maximum support for the feet that will radiate up to the legs. They are ideal for those who are seeking arch support for the prevention and treatment of sports injuries, flat feet, foot pain like bunions and many other foot conditions.

Keosan pure water system

August 4th, 2009

A lot of people who make technological advances today get their inspiration from nature. Considering that nature is God’s canvas, getting inspiration from nature is well–second nature. Case in point is the Keosan pure water system. It is a water purifying system that cleans its water exactly how nature intended it to be.

Water from the rains, rivers or streams runs downstream through layers of filtering (sand or rocks). The result is fresh drinking water. The filtering process of sand and rocks takes away the bacteria and other viruses. The Keosan pure water system does the same thing. It allows the water to flow through 5 differ layers of filtering. It is very affordable and easy to maintain.

shopping cart cover

August 4th, 2009

Protect your child from viruses and bacteria that other people have left on public things. Always bring along a shopping cart cover when buying groceries with your child. After all, you’ll never know what germs another kid left behind when he or she sat on the same spot an hour ago.

A shopping cart cover will also keep your child warm. She won’t have to withstand the coldness of the cart’s metal on her legs, hands and back. Cart covers also provide convenience as most of them come with zippered pockets where you can put in baby essentials like bibs, bottles and small toys.

baby skin care

August 4th, 2009

When couples become first time parents, they tend to go overboard with everything. They buy the best stroller, the best crib, quality feeding bottles, and sterilizers, lots of baby clothes, mittens, and booties. When the baby arrives, first time parents are can get both overjoyed and paranoid at the same time. They celebrate and photograph every smile and stress each time the baby refuses to stop crying.

Babies sometimes break out into rashes; when this happens parents either rush their babies to the doctor or bring out their arsenal of baby skin care products. Baby skin care products are formulated to be gentle on babies’ skin. Even the top commercial brands all claim to be gentle and hypo-allergenic. However, these brands are now competing with products from smaller companies that produce natural or organic baby skin care products. These organic baby skin care products claim not to contain any chemicals, hardeners or preservatives. Baby skin care products range include massage oils, diaper rash creams, massage lotions or oils, sun protection cream, and anti mosquito oils.

increase testosterone naturally

July 30th, 2009

As a triathlete, I’ve participated in various age group competitions. So far, I’m a mid packer. I want to rise to the top of my field but it’s been five years and nothing is happening. I want to increase testosterone naturally because this will add to my muscle mass, reduce fat and increase my muscle endurance. If I can do this, I believe I can top my age group.

To this point, I’m 5′9 and weighs 175 lbs. Based on my body mass index, I should be at 155. That’s 20 lbs of excess weight I have. I figured a bike weights 20lbs, so every time, I run and compete, I’m carrying a bike. I’ve learned from another triathlete friend that trying to increase testosterone naturally would mean speeding up my metabolism. He even advised that I eat 5 to 6 meals a day instead of 3 as first step. By doing so, I’ll avoid fluctuations in my metabolism. He also added that another natural technique is to rest and make sure that I’m getting enough sleep to recover from workouts. I’m hoping those tips would work on me.

antioxidant supplement

July 28th, 2009

There is a big debate about whether antioxidant vitamin supplements, specifically vitamins E, C and beta-carotene are useful to those involved in vigorous exercise. One group claims that antioxidant supplement is a suppressor of radical activity brought about by this kind of activity. Intake of these supplements tends to squelch excessive free radicals. This has been the common belief for over 30 years and has been attributed to a lot of other health benefits including anti-aging and heart disease. In these cases antioxidants are believed to slow down the oxidation process.

Another group maintains that these supplements do not help at all. Antioxidants from a regular diet consisting of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts are enough to fight these radicals. Taking excessive amounts through supplements can, in fact, impair the training response in exercise rather than enhance it. Studies have shown that those who had taken anti-oxidants saw no health benefits from exercise. The promotion of muscle antioxidant defenses which is normally promoted by exercise was in fact prevented by the supplements.

first aid kits

July 22nd, 2009

Staying safe during camping or hiking is easier said than done. There is always a chance that you’ll get bitten by bugs or run into itchy patches of vegetation by accident. Make sure you can treat these and any other complaints your fellow campers and hikers have. Bring along several first aid kits for backup.

Of course it is always to your advantage to be alert at all times. Before leaving for the woods, orient everyone what to expect about the place/s you are going to. Outline the do’s and don’ts and stress the importance of following these rules. If all else fails and somebody does gets hurt, your first aid kits can at least provide the needed initial treatments.

hoodia

July 9th, 2009

I am a diet veteran. I have tried all the fad diets. I have also tried different sports like running, cycling, tennis and swimming. Unfortunately I have not been able to stick to a diet and a sport for a long time. I have a friend who has the same problem I have. She is constantly sending me supplements and pills to try so we could both lose weight. Just last week she sent me big bottle of hoodia.

I stared at it for a few minutes. It seemed like a strange name for diet pill. Apparently a hoodia is a plant extract that helps to suppress you’re appetite. The bottle also came with a warning that hoodia works best if used in combination with diet and exercise. If I were just to take hoodia and not change my diet at all, I should not expect any major weight loss. I figured, I’d give it a try and see what happens in a few weeks.

water filters

July 8th, 2009

When my husband and I got married, we wanted to be able to put up our own business. We looked at producing clothing, putting up a retail store and even setting up a lending business. Two years ago he and a partner chose to put up a water refilling station. My husband had to study all about water filters and how they worked. It took us six months to study the industry and the business.

When my husband first talked to me about putting up a water refilling station, I was not so interested. I was too complicated, I could not understand the technical terms. Eventually I learned that basically it was just all about water filters. The simpler the process, the easier to understand, this was how I put it. Our water refilling station is now doing very well. We have had a few bumps along the way but we’re getting there.

alpha lipoic acid

July 6th, 2009

A lot of antioxidant products have been formulated, tested and sold. The biggest question is, which of them is the most effective and beneficial? Proven to have worked to many, is the alpha lipoic acid. This is another antioxidant made by the body and is found in every cell where it helps turn glucose in to energy. Alpha lipoic acid works in many ways. Not like other antioxidants which work only in water like the vitamin C or fatty tissues like Vitamin E, this is both fat- and water-soluble.

Available in tablets, these are valuable because they don’t just neutralize free radicals, but recycle the abovementioned vitamins as well. This product has been proven used for 30 years in Europe for its effective effects on lowering of blood sugar levels. Alpha lipoic acid is also essential for generating energy in the body and deficiencies can come out in the slowing of metabolism.
