Abbotsford

The largest municipality by area in British Columbia is home to the University of the Fraser Valley. Abbotsford is a Canadian city that is adjacent to Metro Vancouver. It is home to more than 120,000 people. It also has the third highest proportion of visible minorities in Canada after the greater Toronto area and Metro Vancouver.
Abbotsford’s southern boundary is the Canada-US border. Across it is Sumas in the state of Washington. It is bordered in Canada by Langley to the west, the Fraser River and Mission to the north, and Chilliwack to the east. This municipality has dramatic views of Mount Baker to the southeast and the Coast Mountains to the north.
