Sometimes, you need to concentrate on exercises for the lower part of your body. The importance of a strong lower body cannot be over emphasized. This is where the leg press or the leg machine comes into play. These exercises benefit the gluteus maxumus, abductors, adductors, hamstrings, and quadriceps.
Here are steps to do leg exercises: ~In correct posture, sit on a leg press machine. During the exercise, keep your back flush against the back pad. ~Keep your abdominal muscles tight, knees slightly bent and chest up. ~Under control, lower the weight while keeping your hips back. Your focus should be on splitting the weight between your hip joints and knee joints. ~Stop where you feel comfortable and push the weight back. Under control, stop just before your knees are straight and reverse the motion back.
