intense workouts

More and more people are getting on the fitness craze. As more people get fit, the next step is competition. To do well in competitions (doesn’t matter what sport), some intense workouts are needed. Of course, competitions itself is an intense workout. In sports and life basically, to get to the next level a major shift has to happen. Usually these are short intense anaerobic workouts.
To be more specific, let’s pick running as a sport. You go to the track and run and run. Soon you will be able to do a 5k, 10k or a marathon. To do a faster run, you don’t need to run more miles. You will need to do short interval works at a higher intensity, usually at threshold. These intervals are considered intense workouts.
