Getting Ready to Flex
It is no mystery why people are getting into the healthy bandwagon these days. With the rise of many diseases that stem from improper diets and living a sedentary lifestyle, people are leaving their couches to sweat it up at the gym. They are not ready to live with heart disease and diabetes. They do not want to leave the world while they are still young. They want to live long.
But gyms can be a little boring. They have the tendency to be repetitive. That is why people look for other ways to sweat it out by having fun. Some run or do brisk walking. Some do Pilates. Others dance. Some even learn pole or belly dancing. But these activities require being flexible. Instructors know this, so they teach their students flexibility stretches before engaging in activities like these.
