stretching routines
December 3rd, 2009
Stretching is an ideal low impact exercise that can work for almost anybody. It is especially helpful for the elderly and children. It is convenient because it can be performed anywhere and at a person’s pace. Performing stretching routines can improve a person’s fitness and flexibility. It is important to try and find the best routine that will work best for a particular person.
A stretching routine will vary depending on the sport and the muscle group that is being worked up. In any case, the objective is the same. You stretch to keep your muscles limber. This will prevent cramps. You also stretch to get the most out of the workout. Limbering is also meant to prevent injuries; if ever it happens recovery is fast.
