Our moms and grandmothers seemed more glamorous in everyday portraits compared. They always seemed so well put together and their hair was always up and styled. Their generation defined class and style. I learned that they used hair pins a lot. Hair pins were all over their buns and coifs.
Today, when you attend photo shoots for magazines and print ads you will see models sporting different looks. They pose with all sorts of hair styles. Hair pins are still being used by hair stylists for photo shoots. They keep the air up and in place. Hairpins are cheap and reliable. You may lose some hairpins during a photo shoot or during a fashion shoot and it won’t matter because you can always buy some more again.
