Aside from the interest in healthy energy drinks, there is a positive revolution in the snacks available in the market today. Haven’t you noticed how even packaged chips and biscuits claim to be healthy snacks? That is because manufacturers add vitamin supplements, protein substitutes and fiber components.

Healthy snacks are made from fruit, nuts, grain or vegetables. Examples are smoothies using silken tofu rather than cream. Vegetables dipped in hummus rather than mayonnaise, fat-free yogurt with fruits and nuts instead of ice cream or slices of fruit with dark chocolate for dip. Yum! Who will refuse these kinds of snack foods? Children will love them. Adults will love them even better.
