Grey’s anatomy is one of today’s most watched TV shows. Medical dramas in general do well. People love seeing how medical heroes save lives. The most common emergency room scene is one where interns save a victim’s life using a defibrillator. As soon as you hear the lead star shout “Clear!” then you know that the victim’s given a shocking does of electricity to shock his system.
The defibrillator is one of the most used medical machines in medical dramas. This machine is also used in all major hospitals across the country. It is used to help save lives. Victims who are given the defibrillator are usually no longer breathing. The amount of electricity being administered to the victim can be varied.
