What Seniors Deserves
People have to realize that our elders were the builders of the economy in the not so distant past. A lot of people seem to overlook that fact. They see them as weak beings that always need assistance and care. They do not realize that these people were once young and able bodied individuals that worked hard to provide for their families. These people once helped in nation building by upholding the law and paying taxes.
And since they have contributed so much to the nation and society, they should be accorded the respect that they deserve. With all the hard work that they have put out in their prime, they have lesser strength than they used to have when they were young. As courtesy for the elderly, they should be given priority in for instance, grocery stores. They should also have special lines in movie theaters. They should also be offered senior discounts for them to enjoy more out of life.
