Athletes have to take care of their bodies and stay in shape. An unfit athlete is sure to have a hard time keeping up with his teammates, and might eventually be kicked out of the team. My brother used to be one of the best football players in his batch, but since he started playing games on his computer, he’s been slacking off. Now he is in danger of losing his scholarship because he can’t run as long as he used to.
To stay fit, an athlete must always exercise to keep those muscles strong and to increase stamina. A proper diet should also be included in an athlete’s dietary regimen. Some athletes even take sports nutritional supplements to increase their energy and improve their performance. Vices are also removed, like smoking and excessive drinking.
