There are so many tea drinkers in the world. One of the famous teas is the earl grey tea. It is a staple in most homes because of the wonderful flavor it imparts.
Earl grey tea was named after Charles Grey. He was Prime Minister to King William IV in the early 19th century. It was believed that the recipe of the Earl Grey tea was given to him by a Chinese mandarin whose life he had saved. The tea is flavored with an oil of a bergamot. It is a small acidic orange which is a cross between a pear lemon and the Seville sour orange. It can be taken with milk and sugar and can even be used to make iced tea.
