Tea is a great source of antioxidant. It has a high level of polyphenols that help fight cell-damaging free radicals. Tea prevents the accumulation of free radicals that can lead to heart problems and cancer. A new research also showed that tea can help fight cataract, a primary cause of blindness. Drinking tea can help a person live longer because its antioxidant capacity exceeds that of twenty-one fruits and vegetables.

The four main types of tea are green, black, Oolong and white. They can also be classified according to their varieties: China, India (or Assam), and Hybrid. Black and green teas are especially popular in creating flavored tea. They can taste like fruits, nuts, spices, and even chocolate. Herbal teas are not actually from the tea plant but are also flavorful.
