improve balance
When I was a child, I was very active. I used to climb trees a lot, run up and down hills and ride my skateboard up and down the slope near our house. Today at 35 I seem to be the biggest klutz in the world. My trainer told me that I need to do some exercises to improve balance. Apparently, having a good balance can help me do better in sports. It can also help me live a more active lifestyle.
There are several ways to improve balance; the basics can be done anytime and anywhere. The most common method is to stand on one foot. This is also known as the single leg stance. You can do this every day for a few minutes to help improve your balance. You can also try standing on your toes for a few minutes or seconds. You will need however to hold on to something for support while doing this. Lastly, you can also stand on one foot, lean forward and touch the ground. You have to be sure that your other foot does not touch the ground as well.
